The site is located on the western side of the Sacramento River, north of Knights Landing, CA. Seepage and boils were observed on the landside of the levee for a distance of approximately 500 feet during high water in February 2017. The repair of this site will include construction of a new setback levee approximately 2000 feet long. The newly constructed setback levee will tie-in to the existing levee on the northern and southern ends of the site.
