South Bay Water Reclamation Plant (SBWRP) is seeking to remove and replace 3 variable frequency drives (VFDs). There are two Toshiba 600HP variable frequency drives for the reclaiming pumps. One is used for normal operation and the other one is for a back-up. Currently, there is one 600HP is not working and needed to be replaced. Also, due to hard to find parts and obsolete technology, the other 600HP VFD that is currently running will be replaced a well. For the 200HP VFD, it is not working and needed to be replaced. Project Duration: 203 Calendar Days. Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply. SLBE participation: 8.8% ELBE participation: 13.5%.
