The State of Utah Division of Purchasing on behalf of the Division of Wildlife Resources is inviting bids for all labor, tools, equipment, and expenses to provide wildfire hazard reduction and improved wildlife habitat by hand cutting (Lop and Scatter) standing live and dead Pinyon pine and Juniper trees saplings. The work includes treating project areas totaling approximately 6,248 acres. Bids should be submitted on a per/acre basis and total cost basis. Per acre and total bid prices will include all mobilization and operation costs. Work under this contract is located on BLM and State administrated lands both south and east of Beaver that are between 2 and 12 miles from Beaver. Elevations range from 6000 to 7000 ft. The work location is shown on the attached Project and Reference Maps. The treatment boundaries will not be flagged and must be located by GPS or by using the PDF maps attached and the Avenza app. The work location is shown on the site maps. The work will be performed between 5/18/19 and 6/18/19.
