The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: construction of approximately 7,797 LF of 54 inch FRP sanitary sewer pipe, 1,618 LF of 54 inch DIP sanitary sewer pipe, 133 LF of 42 inch FRP sanitary sewer pipe, 88 LF of 24 inch DIP sanitary sewer pipe, 528 LF of 18 inch DIP sanitary sewer pipe, 1,246 LF of 8 inch DIP sanitary sewer pipe, 53 manholes (various sizing), 606 LF of 84 inch steel casing installed via guaranteed trenchless crossing in NCDOT and City of Winston-Salem rights-of-way, bypass pumping of all sanitary sewer flows while performing the work, demolition of the Old South Fork Lift Station, existing manhole abandonment, and other miscellaneous work. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
