The City of Marco Island Water and Sewer Department is soliciting bids from licensed qualified water well contractors to perform rehabilitation services at two of the City’s water supply wells providing raw water to the City’s Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment Plant (ROWTP). The two wells to be rehabilitated, designated RO-17 and RO-18, have been identified for acidification treatment via application of dilute hydrochloric acid. The contracted work will include pump removal, baseline well performance testing, well acidification, well development, post-treatment testing, pump installation, well disinfection, and well start up services.
