The Georgia Public Training Center (GPSTC) is soliciting bids for the Sprinkler System Upgrade project. Install penetration firestopping systems to comply with manufacturer's written installation instructions and published drawings for products and applications. After installing fill materials and allowing them to fully cure, remove combustible forming materials and other accessories not forming permanent components of firestopping. Gypsum Plaster Assemblies: Install sprinklers in suspended ceilings in center of acoustical ceiling panels. Install dry-type sprinklers with water supply from heated space. Do not install pendent or sidewall, wet-type sprinklers in areas subject to freezing. Install sprinklers into flexible, sprinkler hose fittings, and install hose into bracket on ceiling grid. A bid bond of 5% of the bid amount is required for this bid and must be uploaded. The successful bidder will be required to submit a Performance Bond (in the amount equal to the bid) and a Payment Bond (equal to the contract price for the portion of work and/or materials to be performed/provided by the subcontractor(s)) must be received within 10 days of Notice of Award.
