The project consist of the repair and/or replacement of multiple pipe culvert outfalls along existing creeks and the removal and disposal of all fallen and leaning trees within the project limits for four separate Flood Control project locations that were damaged during Hurricane Matthew. The four project locations are: Broad Creek, Pungo Creek, Ellis Swamp, and South Creek. The work consists of removal and replacement of damages pipe culverts, restoring creek bank around end of pipe culverts by backfilling and placing riprap stream protection. The work includes the repair and/or replacement of 27 pipe culverts and the removal of approximately 1420 fallen and/or leaning trees.
