Work under this contract consists of removing the existing sealant material, cleaning the joint, and installing silicone sealant in the roadway joints on SR 15 in Banks County. Project limits are from Mile Post 4.18 to 9.25 North and South Bound including all concrete turn outs at cross streets and shoulders. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, means of transportation and incidentals necessary to perform work. Joint material shall not be placed at a temperature of less tha 40 (Forty) degrees farenheight. Attached is a map and a list of approximate quantities for estimating purposes only. It is the Intent of this contract that all roadway joints be replaced within the project limits.Contractor must submit a bid bond or proposal guaranty for each bid submitted to the Department. Bid bonds or proposal guarantees not received by the Department before the due/close date and time will not be accepted and bid rejected.
