The Contractor will be required to perform prep work, removal, installation and cleanup for Concrete and Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) Pavement Rehabilitation Services defined in this ITB. The majority of the work will occur on the Interstate and State Route system. The work to be done under this contract includes the repair of existing glare screen and median barrier wall locations identified herein. All repairs should be completed in accordance with the State of Georgia Standard Specifications Construction of Transportation Systems, sections 621 and 649. Any damage to State owned property (including barrier, glare screen, pavement, shoulders, etc) shall be repaired in kind at the Contractor’s expense. Any debris associated with repair operations is to be removed from the State R/W by the end of each working day. I-285/SR 407 Clockwise from MM 18.0 (Latitude 33.870831/Longitude -84.476906) in Cobb County to MM 62.0 (Latitude 33.620693/Longitude -84.468989) Fulton County. Contractor must submit a bid bond or proposal guaranty for each bid submitted to the Department. Bid bonds or proposal guarantees not received by the Department before the due/close date and time will not be accepted and bid rejected.
