The successful bidder must possess the following: Previous experience with laboratory repairs for Federal or State laboratories (USDA, FDA, University system). Previous experience with installation of acid fume hoods as well as Polypropylene Fume Hood Enclosures. All acid hoods require polypropylene/FRP ductwork and corresponding blowers. Previous experience with custom scientific cabinets (acids, flammable chemicals, Laboratory grade wood cabinets with chemical resistant finishes). Previous experience in the installation/manipulation of duct systems for chemical/acid fume hoods and their proper function. Below is the breakdown of the items to be repaired/replaced: Replace all (4) acid hoods and base cabinets (2) in Room 117, (1) in Room 116, and (1) in Room 106). This includes repairing and/or replacing flooring as needed and all ductwork, blowers, mechanicals hookups, etc. Room 106 Replace (2) (non) acid fume hoods and base cabinets including floor repair/replace. Room 105 Modify cabinets and countertop to accept new poly hood. Room 115 Replace fume hood and base cabinets. Room 111 Remodel in it’s entirety including new hood and base cabinets. Room 105 Replace Shelving with (8) new jar sample storage cabinet assemblies. Room 106 Modify island assembly to accept (2) new back to back fume hood assemblies. Includes floor repair/replace. Remodel Room 110 in it’s entirety including new hood and base cabinets. A bid bond of 5% of the bid amount is required for this bid and must be uploaded. The supplier submitted pricing must include the cost of the required insurance.
