Las Olas Isles Neighborhood Corner of Isles of Capri Drive and Mola Avenue Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301
The intent of this bid is to establish an annual, open-end contract for the conversion of existing overhead electric and communication utilities from overhead to underground, within various neighborhoods throughout the City, on an as-needed basis. The initial project areas under this contract includes, 1) Area “A” – Riviera Isles and Idlewyld, 2) Area “B” – Las Olas Isles, 3) Area “C” – Seven Isles, 4) Area “D” – Harbor Beach, and 5) Area “E” – Sunrise Key, but is not limited to, the areas described in this bid document. As it pertains solely to Area “B” in this bid document, construction work will commence on the most westerly isle, Mola Avenue and/or Isle of Capri Drive, and proceed in an easterly direction, ending on the last isle, Royal Plaza Drive. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
