McKimmon rear entrance aluminum storefront door replacement encompassing the perimeter exit doors. Furnish materials and labor to remove the existing frame and doors and remove from site. Install new frame and pair of doors with new hardware using ¼” steel reinforcement in header and side jambs. In this scope, the doors will be installed as best possible. The doors will have ADA Automatic closers installed by the NCSU Lock Shop. The new door frame will be clear anodized aluminum. The following area has been identified for replacement. The attached sketch is not to scale and shall only be used for approximate estimates. Once awarded, contractor will coordinate with project manager with a date for installation to make sure door lock cylinder can be installed on same day by NCSU Lock Shop personnel to ensure security of building. Install new doors and storefront. • Remove existing E1029 doors and remove from site • Doors have to be secured at the end of the business day by the glass contractor. The opening can`t be open overnight for any reason. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
