The City of Los Angeles solicits bids for: Vision Zero - Phase 2B, Metro-Blue Line Improvements & Highway-Rail Grade Crossings Improvements & I-5 Corridor Transportation Improvements (W.O. E1908463, E1908481, E1908482). This project consists of traffic signal improvements across the entire city focusing on traffic signal safety improvements. These improvements include the installation of brand new traffic signals, protected and protected-permissive left turn movements, high visibility continental crosswalks, and Leading Pedestrian Interval Phasing. This project is the second phase of many where the purpose is to significantly reduce traffic collisions, and ultimately reduce traffic fatalities to zero by the year 2025.This project is subject to the provisions of the Department of Public Works Project Labor Agreement in Part IV of the Bid Proposal. Outreach is due by 04/24/19 @ 12:00 PM. The Board of Public Works anticipated level of MBE participation 4%, WBE participation is 2%, SBE participation is 25%, EBE participation is 8%, and DVBE participation is 3%. Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply.
