The Georgia Public Training Center (GPSTC) is soliciting bids for the Sprinkler System Upgrade project. Install penetration firestopping systems to comply with manufacturer's written installation instructions and published drawings for products and applications. After installing fill materials and allowing them to fully cure, remove combustible forming materials and other accessories not forming permanent components of firestopping. Gypsum Plaster Assemblies: Install sprinklers in suspended ceilings in center of acoustical ceiling panels. Install dry-type sprinklers with water supply from heated space. Do not install pendent or sidewall, wet-type sprinklers in areas subject to freezing. Install sprinklers into flexible, sprinkler hose fittings, and install hose into bracket on ceiling grid. The work involves more than 36 miles of patching, asphalt overlay with tack coat, leveling and striping along Hog Jowl Road, Old Bethel Road, Chattanooga Valley Road, E. Armuchee Road, Long Hollow Road, and sections of Ringgold Road and Happy Valley Road. Patching, asphalt overlay with tack coat, leveling and striping according to the proposal form item page of Hog Jowl Road, a section of Old Bethel Road, Chattanooga Valley Road, East Armuchee Road, a section of Ringgold Road, Long Hollow Road, and a section of Happy Valley Road (from Dry Valley Road to the Rossville city limits at James Street). Provide perimeter security and erosion control measures throughout the duration of the project in accordance with permits.
