The City of Rocky Mount seeks to contract with qualified chemical companies to provide the “Water Purification Chemicals 2019-2020” requirements on a contract basis commencing at the time of award in July 2019 through June 30, 2020 or as otherwise stated. The reserves the right to extend the contract for up to two (2) years if both parties are in agreement and there are no price increases. The Material to be provided shall be LIQUID FERRIC SULFATE, approved for potable water treatment, Listed/Certified under the National Sanitation Foundation NSF Standard 60 and meeting all provisions of ANSI/AWWA STANDARD B406-97; “Standard for Liquid Ferric Sulfate", latest revision and the requirements contained within these specifications. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
