The Work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment and incidentals necessary for construction of approximately 5,400 LF of 16-inch DIP water main, 300 LF of 12-inch DIP water main, 700 LF of 8-inch DIP water main, 480 LF 24-inch steel casing (open cut and bored), 240 LF 16-inch steel casing (open cut and bored), 4 fire hydrant assemblies, 1 crossing of Pumpkin vine Creek, all with related valves, connections, fittings, anchors, appurtenances, traffic control, clearing, erosion control, grassing, landscaping, restoration, pavement replacement, clean-up, hydrostatic testing, flushing, and disinfection. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, or other security authorized by law, in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total base bid. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price.
