Sealed Bids: Sealed bids for the construction of the project titled: Water System Improvements- Division II & III for Monroe County Board of Commissioners, GA. Work to Be Done: The Work to be done shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to construct the proposed Water System Improvements- Division II & III as shown on the construction drawings. In general, construction consists approximately 23,425 L.F. of 12",10,8",6", &2" DI & PVC water main, valves, hydrants, jack & bore, free bore, fittings, pavement replacement, new metered services, erosion control, grassing and all other associated appurtenances necessary for a complete water system improvement project. This work will be awarded in Two(2) contracts with a 180 consecutive calendar day construction schedule. All bid forms must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid. The successful bidder, if awarded the Contract, will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount.
