Install basement waterproofing system in Building 5 basement. Remove approximately 1 foot of concrete floor around the perimeter of the basement. Excavate sub material around perimeter and discard. Install a 4” perforated pipe for drainage system. Install a fabric and a washed stone. Install (2) catch basins with submersible pump in the floor (location to be determined). Electrical work for pumps shall meet NEC requirements. Finish concrete floor leaving a 1”-2” gap around the perimeter. The gap will have weep holes drilled allowing water to flow into the drainage system. Ejection pipe shall be buried and day lighted to a proper sloped area to ensure water runs away from foundation. Test to confirm proper operation. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
