The work governed by these specifications consists of: 1. Mobilization/Demobilization of equipment and personnel including one (1) OR two (2) rigs, as specified and directed by the City; 2. Providing and maintaining temporary sound barrier walls at two (2) sites and construction of well site pads that may be needed to accommodate the Contractor’s equipment. 3. Removing existing pump, motor, cable, and pump columns, decommission and plugging of two (2) water wells. 4. Constructing two (2) public supply water wells in the Twin Mountains Formation (Lower Trinity aquifer). 5. Constructing surface slab and pump foundation at two (2) sites. 6 . Installing and testing pumping equipment and wellhead infrastructure at two (2) sites. Contract is contingent upon release of funds from the Texas Water Development Board. MBE & WBE goals apply.
