The project will address the issues associated with Wildlife Hazard Management Plan for the drainage area in between the perimeter fence and south of Taxiway C. The project will consist of approximately 9 acres clearing and grubbing adjacent to the stream (outside of the stream buffer), grading and drainage improvements between Taxiway C and the stream buffer to reduce standing water and improve maintenance ability of the area. Grading and drainage improvements will include 7 new drainage inlets, approximately 2,600 linear feet of reinforced concrete pipe, and 4 flared end sections. In addition to the drainage improvements, this project will also include removing and replacing 2,700 linear feet of perimeter fence. The project will also include erosion and sedimentation control throughout the duration of construction. A pre-bid conference will be held at the Airport’s Conference Room @ 10:00 AM on 4/8/2020. Bid security in the form of a bid bond equal to 5% of the total bid is required. Contract security in the form of 100% Performance and Payment Bonds will be required. The DBE participation goal is 2.75%. The construction is 120 consecutive calendar days. No bid may be withdrawn after closing time for the receipt of proposals for a period of 120 calendar days.
