The Wilkinson Boulevard ITS Project includes the installation of approximately 4 miles of fiber optic cable in new directionally bored and trenched conduit and aerial attachments to wood utility poles. This project includes entrances and interconnect equipment for 9 existing traffic control cabinets and the installation of 11 traffic management cameras. This project also includes fiber splicing and testing. This project limits are Wilkinson Boulevard from Josh Birmingham Road to Morehead Street and Ashley Road to Greenland Avenue, Charlotte, in Mecklenburg County, NC. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
