The Wilsonville and Edminston Safety Project is a traffic signalization contract. The contract will install two (2) AC powered speed feedback and curve warning signs near the intersection of SW Wilsonville Rd and SW Edminston Rd and one (1) AC powered warning sign with beacons and detection system at the intersection of SW Wilsonville Rd and SW Edminston Rd. SW Wilsonville Rd is classified as a major arterial and has an average daily traffic count of 3,135 vehicles per day. SW Edminston Rd is classified as a local road and has an average daily traffic count of 340 vehicles per day. This contract will include, but not be limited to: Installing two (2) AC powered speed feedback and curve warning signs with wireless communication; installing one (1) AC powered warning sign with beacons and vehicle detection; removal of existing signs and supports, installation of new signs and supports; installing, maintaining, and removing temporary work zone traffic control measures; and performing additional incidental work.
