The intersection of Windsor Pkwy and Osborne Rd is currently a four way stop. The project looks to improvement the operational function of the intersection by installing a compact urban roundabout. In addition, the project will include but not limited to sidewalks, utility relocation, landscaping, signing and pavement markings. Project will utilize newly acquired ROW and temporary construction easements to construct this widened intersection. Coordination will occur with Georgia Power Company representatives to install sixteen pedestrian scale lighting as part of the streetscape. In accordance with the Brookhaven’s plans, specifications, Land Disturbance Permit, schedule, and summary of quantities, bidder is to provide unit costs totaling to a bid for the overall project cost. The contractor shall furnish all materials, equipment, and labor to complete the required construction as described in its entirety to the specifications as directed and the terms of this contract including all incidentals as directed by the City of Brookhaven Director of Public Works or his representative. Unless otherwise specified all work shall be completed in accordance with Georgia Department of Transportation Standard Specifications (current edition), by the completion date. Each bid must be accompanied with a BID BOND (bond only: certified checks or other forms are not acceptable) in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid, payable to the City of Brookhaven.
