The City of Hampton is seeking bids from qualified bidders to provide backup services on routine and emergency on-call hauling services in addition or as substitute to currently awarded vendor on an as needed basis. The Contractor will be required to haul approximately 50,000 tons, + or -, of various types of material from various pick-up locations throughout Virginia to deliver to the City of Hampton. Materials may include but are not limited to wood chips, branches, logs, trunks root balls, leaves, storm debris, construction spoils and debris, broken sections of concrete, stone, sand, soil, hot-mix asphalt, snow, and ice. Questions due by 3:30 PM EST on May 24, 2022. This Contract shall continue in force for the term of one (1) year. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
