Parties interested in attending the Facility Inspection shall meet at the Harrison Car Maintenance Facility. Upon arrival at the Facility, Foot of Cape May Road, Harrison, NJ. Then check in at security gate and await further instructions. A valid ID is required for all in-person meetings. Contact Markus More at mmore@panynj.gov no later than 12:00 PM Noon of the business day preceding the scheduled Facility Inspection date to confirm attendance and/or receive directions. Note: An optional pre-bid conference was held on 10/7 via teleconference.

Work of the project, in general, includes inspection, maintenance & repair of bridge and jib cranes, cranes with Shawbox hoists, turntable, monorail system and slings at PATH's Harrison Car Maintenance Facility (HCMF) and the Consolidated Shop and Exchange Place in Jersey City, New Jersey. NIGP CODE(S): 92933: Cranes: Backhoe, Dragline, Clamshell, etc., Maintenance and Repair 92947: Lifts and Hoists, Maintenance and Repair 07544: Lifts and Hoists, Floor Type: Electric, Hydraulic, or Pneumatic. Bidders shall use every good-faith effort to provide for participation by Port Authority certified Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs), Port Authority certified Woman-owned Business Enterprises (WBEs) and Service-disabled Veteran-owned Business Enterprises (SDVOBs) in all purchasing and subcontracting opportunities associated with this Contract.
