The District of Columbia Department of General Services (DGS) is issuing this Invitation for Bids to engage a Contractor to provide all necessary services, supervision, permits, labor, supplies, equipment, and materials to perform Construction Services for the Department of Public Works Fort Totten Solid Waste Transfer Station Outer Lot Resurfacing located at 4900 John McCormack Road NE, Washington, DC 20011. The scope of this Project is limited to construction and relevant improvement work, including but not limited to: (i) demolition of existing asphalt surface; and (ii) installing new asphalt coat following the design as outlined in the attached drawings. New resurfacing must meet all codes of practices, making necessary slopes to drain all stormwater to the nearest outlets/manholes, and the drainage system so that after the storm no impoundment occurs at the area of the scope. The Contractor will also provide necessary parking lot striping and zebra crossing as defined in the attached drawings. All demolition debris must be taken out of the site by the Contractor using his own resources. SBE goal 35%. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
