The items of work under Contract D041303 include, but are not necessarily limited to the following: The project includes replacing the existing bridge carrying Standish Road over Separator Brook. The new structure will consist of a precast concrete three-sided unit superstructure with an asphalt wearing surface. The proposed substructure will be a cast-in-place concrete invert slab. New cast-in place concrete wingwalls will be constructed on the downstream side of the bridge and will require the relocation of approximately 160 linear feet of waterline. Approximately 325 linear feet of approach highway will be reconstructed as part of the project. Traffic will be maintained through an off-site detour route during construction. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Utilization Goal (DBE) 4% Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
