Army Navy Drive Protected Bike Lane (PBL) Extension Project: This project aims to improve cyclist and pedestrian flow through Pentagon City by extending the cycle track along Army Navy Drive (from S Joyce St to S Lynn St). This project includes protected bike lanes on both sides of Army Navy Drive, wider sidewalks and accessible transit stop islands. The design will feature physically separated protected bicycle lane facilities along both sides of the street and include various improvements such as transit islands, new streetlights, storm sewer improvements, curb ramps and new sidewalk in select areas.
