The Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office plans to temporarily relocate its 911 Dispatch Center from 28 N. Lower Sunset to 18440 Striker Court, utilizing available space within the existing Ambulance/Fire/EOC Headquarters. The 911 Dispatch Center is a critical component of the County’s emergency response system, providing reliable, efficient, and timely services to our community. In moments of crisis—when every second counts—residents and visitors depend on our dispatchers to connect them with life-saving assistance, ensuring a swift and coordinated response. To meet the technical requirements of the Dispatch Center in its new location, the County must establish a second-floor Intermediate Distribution Frame (IDF). This IDF will connect to the Main Distribution Frame (MDF) using a combination of fiber optic and UTP Category cabling. It will provide the essential infrastructure to support dispatch workstations and ensure seamless communication with external emergency services and the general public. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
