The project consists of two phases and two additive alternatives. Phase 2 consists of completing the four production wells constructed in Phase 1. The completion of the production wells will include power to site, installing the well pump and pitiless unit, completing the electrical and controls, constructing a wellhouse for the wells, installing all interior and exterior piping, providing chlorination as disinfection, and connecting the new wells to existing distribution system. Phase 3 consists of installing approximately 1,200 linear feet of new 10-inch PVC water main and approximately 3,000 linear feet of new 8-inch PVC water main under the railroad and Highway 312. Phase 3 also includes horizontal directional drilling approximately 700 linear feet of the new steel casing underneath the Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) railroad and Highway 312. Additive Alternative 1 consists of installing approximately 1,000 linear feet of 8-inch PVC water main on 2nd St. in Worden. Additive Alternative 2 consists of approximately 750 linear feet of 8-inch PVC water main on Northern Ave in Worden. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
