Expansion/Addition/New Construction: The purpose of this ITB is to secure a qualified general licensed contractor to complete the Project construction according to the Contract Documents. This Project will entail an addition to and an interior renovation of a portion of the Boys and Girls Club facility to convert an existing covered patio and amenities into a new Multipurpose Teen Center. The building exterior will be updated with new entry, windows, and exterior finishes. This ITB relates to a federally funded project. The Project will be subject to all applicable Federal contract requirements and any and all applicable Federal regulations. The Town encourages participation by Section 3, disadvantaged, minority, small and women-owned individuals and businesses. Procurement and contracting of all services shall conform to CDBG guidelines and State and Federal regulations including 2 CFR, Part 200 (Refer to page 65 of this document for applicable procurement standards that must be in met in accordance with all 2CFR guidelines). Contractor shall have 270 calendar days to complete the Work and for the Project to achieve Substantial Completion from the date the Town of Davie issues a Notice to Proceed (NTP) with Construction.
