The meeting will begin in the first floor lobby of City Hall at 900 Church St. Lynchburg, VA 24504. Each of the areas to have the carpet replaced will be visited during the pre-bid meeting.

The Lynchburg Department of Public Works desires to have the carpet in several areas inside City Hall located at 900 Church St. Lynchburg, VA 24504 replaced with ShawContract Solitude Luxury Vinyl Tile and Shaw Contract Collective Line Carpet Tile. The approximate square footage of the initial contract for the LVT is 4,275 (First Floor 633, Second Floor 1,888, Third Floor 1,754) The approximate square footage of the initial contract for the carpet tile is 2,567. The City also desires to enter into an annual agreement with the awarded Contractor for subsequent flooring work City-wide. The term of the initial agreement shall be one (1) year from the date of award with the option to renew the agreement for two (2) additional one-year periods upon mutual agreement of both parties. The City does not guarantee any specific amount of work as a result of the annual agreement. Future flooring projects will be based on funding availability. Questions due by 3:00 p.m. on May 19, 2022. DBE GFE required.
