Due to the public health emergency, the pre-bid conference will be conducted in person and will be live streamed using Microsoft Teams. The in-person pre-bid meeting will be limited to ten (10) individuals one (1) representative per firm, and will be held in the conference room at the Administration Building, 7797 Mason St., Radford (Fairlawn), VA 24141. Potential bidders planning to join the site visit must notify the Pepper’s Ferry Regional Wastewater Treatment Authority Executive Director, Ryan Hendrix, via email rhendrix@pfrwta.com at least 48-hours in advance of the visit. Include the “Digester Gas Pipe Replacement Project, RFB No. 2021-02 – Pre-Bid Meeting” in the subject line of your email request and provide the names of individual attending the site visit. The Authority will provide Microsoft Teams link to only requestors who wish to live stream the meeting.

Trades: WWTP Wastewater Treatment Plant Construction & Repair - General Engineering Contractor

General construction: • Demolish existing digester gas piping and supports located inside anaerobic digesters T-14A and T-14B. • Install new digester gas piping, fittings, and valves on the roof of both anaerobic digesters T-14A and T-14B. Route new digester gas piping through the wall and the upper-level floor slab of the solids handling building and connect to the existing gas handling system piping. • Relocate existing sediment trap M402-B. Demolish existing drip traps M402-A and M402-B. • Install new owner-provided drip traps for existing sediment traps M402-A and M402-B. • Demolish existing gas piping, relocate existing valves, and install new piping, fittings, and valves inside the building. New valves shall be ownerprovided. Q&A due via email at least 7 days prior to bid date.
