Department of Public Works intends to pre-qualify and select up to four (4) firms (each, a “consultant”) from each category listed in Section Four “Scope of Services” to provide surveying, geotechnical, environmental (planning and biological resources), hydrologic and hydraulic, cultural resource, and traffic services in support of the planning, design and construction of various federal aid projects, which include, but are not limited to, road improvements, safety improvement projects currently programmed with the Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP), bridge projects currently programmed with the Highway Bridge Program (HBP), Active Transportation Program (ATP) projects, and Emergency Relief Program (ER) projects. Firms responding to this RFQ should be fully familiar with and experienced in meeting the requirements of both State and Federal procedures pertaining to federally funded projects.
