The purpose of this project is to construct a series of water lines ahead of City paving projects. B. Major work items are: (1) Furnish and install 1,211’ of 8” water line (2) Furnish and install fire hydrants (3) Tie to existing lines C. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, and materials required for the complete construction of the work as shown on the drawings and specified herein. D. All work shall be performed in accordance with the most recent City of Lubbock Design Standards for Water and Sanitary Sewer construction. E. A maximum of 500 feet of trench open at a time. 1.4 Work shall also include restoration or replacement of all removed or damaged pavement, curb, sidewalk, gutter, shrubbery, fence, sod or other disturbed surfaces or structures in a condition equal to that before the work began to the satisfaction of the Engineer. Questions due 10/7/22 Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
