The Bay County Board of County Commissioners (County) seeks bids from qualified contractors for the stabilization of Wiregrass Boulevard and W. Smith Road. The combined total project length is approximately 0.88 miles. The Wiregrass Boulevard project limits extend northward from Newman Point Road to the dead end at the northern end of Wiregrass Boulevards. The W. Smith Road project limits extend northward from Marina Bay Drive to McKenzie Road. The project roadway area will be stabilized with asphaltic concrete pavement and sod stabilization of the roadside shoulders. he Prime Contractor shall be qualified in, under Rule Chapter 14-22, Florida Administrative Code, the following major classes of work: 1) Flexible Paving and 2) Hot Plant-Mixed Bituminous Courses. Additionally, the Prime Contractor or Subcontractor shall be qualified in 3) Drainage and 4) Grading.
