Any bid received after said time and date will not be considered by the City of Metter. The work to be done consists of utility improvements and the resurfacing of a portion of South College Street in Metter Georgia. Specifically, this project includes the following: Replacement of water service laterals along South College Street from Pine Street to Neal Street. Replacement of water service main and service laterals along South College Street from Neal Street to Hiawatha Street. Sewer: Line-in-place sanitary sewer main rehabilitation along South College Street from Pine Street to the terminus near Hiawatha Street. Rehabilitation of five sanitary manholes along the route. Resurfacing: Approximately 1,491-lf of roadway resurfacing along South College Street from Pine Street to Hiawatha Street. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond on the form included hereto and shall be secured by a surety company, certified check or cashier's check in an amount equal to at least 10% of the amount of the bid. A contract performance and payment bond each in the amount of 100% of the contract amount will be required of the successful bidder.
