2021 Sewer and Water Repair and Replacement Project Woodland, CA

The project generally includes repair and replacement of water mains and service laterals as well as sanitary sewer mainline and lateral replacement. Approximately 1,320 linear feet of new 18-inch PVC sewer main will be constructed along Gum Avenue from East Street through Fourth Street and approximately 1,550 linear feet of new 12-inch PVC sewer main will be constructed on Marshall Avenue from Fourth Street to College Street. More than 5,800 linear feet of mainline water pipe will be replaced with new 8-inch diameter mains on College Street from Bartlett Avenue to Marshall Avenue, on Marshall Avenue from College Street to Fourth Street, on Fourth Street from Marshall Avenue to Gum Avenue, on Gum Avenue from Fourth Street to Thomas Street, and on Third Street from Marshall Avenue to Pendegast Street. Residences served by the new water main will be reconnected with new polyethylene services. Once completed, the project will result in more reliable water pressure and uninterrupted water service for approximately 82 parcels. Additionally, the project will install approximately 46 new sewer laterals and more than14 new manholes with inverts five feet deeper than the existing system in order to provide adequate depth of service for residents upstream whose laterals are built with shallow slopes.
