A pre-proposal conference will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at 2:00 pm at the Wayne County Board of Commissioners meeting room located at 224- 226 East Walnut Street, 4th Floor Goldsboro, NC 27530. Attendance at this meeting is not mandatory; however, it is strongly suggested that all Proposers attend this pre-proposal conference.
Trades: Roofing Contractor - General Contractor
The County of Wayne is soliciting sealed proposals for the removal and installation of new roofing materials at the building located at 800 Corporate Drive, Goldsboro, NC. Copies of the Request for Proposal (RFP) may be obtained by contacting the Office of the Wayne County Purchasing Manager, phone (919) 705-1714 during regular business hours. The County of Wayne reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals. The County of Wayne encourages all businesses, including minority, women owned businesses to respond to all Request for Proposals. Scope of Services will include, furnish all labor, materials. Insurance, and equipment necessary to do the following work on the above project • Demo the existing roof down to the metal deck • Replace with R25 iso 60 mil mechanically attached TPO roofing systems • All new flashing as per manufacture requirements • Fabricate and install new 24ga Kynar coated metal edge strip • Warranty - 2 year workmanship - 20 year total system • Tapered insulation to the existing roof • Gutter and downspouts to the building • Wood Blocking replacement • Metal Decking replacement.
