This Project is located in Segments 1N and 4 of the below-ground Tulalip Water Pipeline, located along E. Grand Avenue in Everett, WA and through Smith Island along Frontage Road. Traffic Control for the portions of the project in WSDOT ROW (529) is subject to the WSDOT General Permit, which the City will acquire prior to the start of Construction. The Contractor is responsible for the installation and maintenance of traffic control to meet the conditions of the general permit.  Work being performed includes, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to repair field-applied joint mortar on approximately 157 pipe joints in approximately 6200 feet of 48” diameter steel pipe with welded lab joints. The Contract also allows for up to 500 feet of crack repair in the factory-applied cement mortar lining, as needed. The Contractor must comply with strict time limitations for construction, which are discussed in the Contract Documents. Within seven days of notice to proceed, the Contractor shall submit a work schedule for meeting the deadline of repairs by April 29, 2022. Curing of cement mortar, disinfection, and flushing may occur after April 29th, 2022 but pipeline must be put back into service by May 14, 2022.
