Summary: The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County ("Metro") is soliciting bids for four (4) projects: Old Lebanon Pike - seeking a qualified contractor(s) to install approximately 447 LF of underground storm drainage, 360 LF of 12" water main, 10 LF of 8" water main, 40 LF of 6" water main, 40 LF of 3/4" water service, 12" gate valve, 2-6" gate valves, fire hydrant and other water appurtenances in addition to 160 LF of 6" sewer service, 5 sewer cleanouts and other sewer appurtenances, curb & gutter, 864 LF of sidewalk, pedestrian crossings, and all associated grading and paving work for a complete project. Edge O Lake Drive - seeking a qualified contractor(s) to install approximately 1950 LF of underground storm drainage, 160 LF of 6" water main, 6" gate valves, 390 LF of 3/4" water service lines and other appurtenances for water relocations in addition to 650 LF of 6" sewer service, 19 cleanouts and other sewer appurtenances, curb & gutter, 2300 LF of sidewalk, pedestrian crossings and all associated grading and paving work for a complete project. Hamilton Church Road - seeking a qualified contractor(s) to install approximately 100 LF of underground storm drainage, 80 LF of 12" water main, 15 LF of 6" water main, 6" gate valve, fire hydrant and all required appurtenances for a complete project, curb & gutter, 1000 LF of sidewalk, pedestrian crossings and all associated grading and paving work. Tusculum Road - seeking a
qualified contractor(s) to install approximately 2850 LF of underground storm drainage, 550 LF of 4", 250 LF of 8" water main, 450 LF of 6" water main, 40 LF of 4" water main, 725 LF of 3/4" water service, 6-8" gate valves, 9 fire hydrants and other water appurtenances as required in addition to 10 LF of 10" PVC sewer, 75 LF of 8" PVC sewer, 3-48" manholes, 780 LF of 6" sewer services, 16 sewer cleanouts and all other sewer appurtenances, curb & gutter, 4700 LF of sidewalk, pedestrian crossings and all associated grading and paving work for a complete project. Metro reserves the right to procure more or less quantities during the lifetime of any agreement that may be issued as a result of this solicitation. Metro intends to award to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The projects will be awarded as a group to one (1) vendor.
Details: Old Lebanon Pike project add a new sidewalk along the south side of Old Lebanon Pike from JB Estille Drive to Lebanon Pike. The proposed path is 5' wide approximately 864 feet long, and the construction within the ROW will require the installation of approximately 447 LF of underground storm drainage and related water/sanitary system relocations. Edge O Lake Drive project add a new sidewalk along the North side of Edge O Lake Drive from Bell Road to Deerpath Drive. The proposed path is 8' wide approximately 2700 feet long, and the construction within the ROW will require the installation of approximately 1950 LF of underground storm drainage and related water/sanitary system relocations. Hamilton Church Road project add a new sidewalk along the North side of Hamilton Church Road from Murfreesboro Pike to existing sidewalk. The proposed path is 5-6' wide approximately 1000 feet long, and the construction within the ROW will require the installation of approximately 100 LF of underground storm drainage and related water/sanitary system relocations. Tusculum Road Project add a new sidewalk along the North/West side of Tusculum Road from Nolensville Pike to existing sidewalk. The proposed path is 6' wide approximately 4700 feet long, and the construction within the ROW will require the installation of approximately 2850 LF of underground storm drainage and related water/sanitary system relocations. Contractor(s) must be a Licensed Municipal Utility Contractor. Contractor(s) shall comply with all TDOT, Metro Public Works, Metro Water Services, Federal, State and Local environment regulations and/or other authorized agencies.
