You are invited to bid on a general contract for Frederick County, VA Public Schools Administration Building Roof Replacement. This project consists of demolition of the existing roofing membrane and cover board in its entirety. The Contractor shall prepare the existing built-up material, roof insulation and the existing gypsum roof deck for new work. The Contractor shall patch, repair or replace damaged insulation. Patch and repair existing roof deck, etc. prior to installing new mechanically attached EPDM membrane roofing, cover board, and additional rigid roof insulation over the existing roof insulation, and existing gypsum roof deck. The project shall also include the removal of the existing skylights and providing new pyramid skylights as specified. All bids shall be on a lump sum basis. Bonds required.
