The Project will replace approximately 13,100 manual direct read water meters with new radio read water meters. The new water meters will transmit water usage information through a radio signal to vehicle mounted and pole mounted data collectors. This project will include all hardware, software, and programming necessary to automatically upload water usage information collected to the Districts billing system. The software will also provide water distribution system operators with real time leak detection and water usage information. Prospective Bidders are required to inspect the project site prior to submitting a bid. Financed with Federal Funds. Prevailing wages apply. Bonds required.
