This Project will remove and replace existing mechanical, electrical, and structural features at Pump Station 38 and convert the station to a dry well-wet well configuration. The Work will require bypassing of wastewater flow throughout construction. General items of work include but are not limited to: Establishment of temporary sewer bypass. Replacement of existing electrical service cabinet, conduit, and conductors. Demolition of existing site features, structural elements, electrical elements, mechanical equipment, and removal of lead-containing coatings. Installation of new structural elements including hatches, beams, gratings, pedestrian guardrails, and a cast-in-place internal partition wall. Installation of new electrical equipment, including motor starters. Installation of new mechanical equipment, including pumps, valves, process piping, and HVAC (i.e. ventilation). Installation of new instrumentation including a wastewater flow meter. Installation and protection of concrete and asphalt paving. Installation of artwork, including Owner-furnished prefabricated artwork mosaic panels, landscaping and decorative site features; coordination with and assistance to the Owner’s Artist. Restoration of landscaping and site features. Post-construction testing and commissioning. Landscape Establishment including irrigation. M/WBE goal is 15%
