Wicomico County is seeking bids from qualified Vendors to contract for the construction of the Airport Convenience Center Dock, in conformity with the requirements contained herein Bid Documents. 1. Job will consist of building 2 wooden dock walls with a raised driveway between the walls. 2. The walls will be 90 feet in length and the end of the walls will have a 15-foot sloped transition. 3. The outside of both dock walls will have an 8-inch-thick by 12-foot wide concrete slab the length of the dock walls. 4. The Successful Vendor will be responsible for supplying the concrete, concrete forms, steel plates, rebar and all concrete supplies. 5. After the slabs are poured and forms have been stripped Wicomico County will back fill around the slabs. 6. The Successful Vendor is responsible for installing cross tie rods, back filling and asphalt on the raised driveway. 7. Wicomico County will be responsible for all electric work, demo of the old dock walls, and backfill of the old dock. 8. The top of fill will be the subgrade for the concrete slabs. 9. Wicomico County will supply all the fill dirt, treated lumber and hardware to construct the dock walls. 10. There will be a 20-yard dumpster on site for all trash from this project. 11. There is no plumbing in this project. The last day for questions is noon on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. Bonds required.
