It is the intent of the City of Rochester to establish a contract for maintenance, installation, inspections and repair of fire and intrusion alarm systems at various buildings owned, rented, leased or otherwise controlled by the City. The contract shall provide all labor, transportation and equipment and materials necessary to perform alarm system repair, testing and installation work. Repair or replacement of security and fire devices such as panel elements, smoke and heat detectors, motion detectors, door contacts, etc. Expansion or modification of existing systems. Security camera - black & white, color multiplexor, tilt, zoom, motion. Security housings/environmental housings with heater & mounts. Video entrance security intercoms, reg. (black & white/color). A bid bond in an amount of $1,000.00 shall be furnished with each bid. At its option, the City shall have the right to accept cash, a certified check, or a letter of credit in satisfaction of this requirement. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
