The Alhambra Elementary School District No. 68 is seeking a qualified Construction Manager at Risk (CM@R) to provide limited pre-construction and construction services to receive a new gymnasium (7,335 SF) with retractable bleachers and basketball / volleyball court markings, 2 classrooms, new boys and girls restrooms, a unisex restroom and accessory spaces which will include storage, fire riser, electrical and IDF room. In addition, there will also be site demolition and construction for new soccer field with irrigation and new asphalt bus lane and parking lot (49 new spaces) with this project to be built at a shared campus, Valencia Newcomer and Global Academy of Phoenix Schools. Upon award, the District intends to offer a Contract for limited pre-construction services, and subsequent construction services, to a single Offeror. Voter approved bond-funded new construction of one gymnasium with two attached classrooms, at a shared site location of two school sites. The project design will include a gymnasium with regulation basketball/volleyball, wood gym floor, two main basketball goals, spectator bleacher seating for approximately 500 spectators, equipment storage areas and restrooms, including necessary site preparation work surrounding the building. Contract award and construction start date no later than June 10, 2021, and project construction completion and occupancy no later than January 1, 2022.
