The Alhambra Elementary School District No. 68 is seeking a qualified Construction Manager at Risk (CM@R) to provide limited pre-construction and construction services to demolish 5 existing modular classroom buildings and adding a new building that will have 10 classrooms, 2 restroom banks, an audio/visual room, and a large multi-purpose space to be built at Westwood Elementary School. Additionally, Westwood will get a new modernization facelift at the administration entrance, 2 new outdoor basketball courts and an extended bus lane. Upon award, the District intends to offer a Contract for limited pre-construction services, and subsequent construction services, to a single Offeror. Voter approved bond-funded new construction of ten classrooms at one location with 900-1000 students. The project design will include additional rooms within the building site including restrooms and remodeling of an existing administrative building to include two new outdoor basketball courts. This includes necessary site preparation work surrounding the building. Contract award and construction start date no later than August 23, 2021, and project construction completion and occupancy no later than March 21, 2022.
