The City of Newport News is seeking bids from qualified firms to furnish/provide As needed Citywide Pipe Lining Services. The work consists of furnishing all supervision, labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals required to rehabilitate existing storm sewers of Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) into the existing storm drains. Work including by-pass pumping, storm sewer cleaning, Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), Utility identification / location, site preparations, permits, citizen notification, area cleanup after completion of the project and all other related work. The proposed scope will provide the City with an on-call pipe rehabilitation contractor that can quickly address the rising number of emergency repairs. The initial contract period will be for one (1) year from date of award with the option to renew, at the City’s sole discretion, for four (4) additional one (1) year periods. Question Submission Deadline: September 27, 2022, 1:00pm. Bonds required.
