It is the intent of this Invitation for Bids to establish an Agency Specific Contract with a Vendor for Janitorial Services for the Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Morganton Regional Center. in Asheville, NC. The Contract shall have an initial term of one (1) year, beginning on April 1, 2022 and continuing through March 31, 2023. Service Days: Monday through Friday (after 5:00 pm). Premise Square Footage is Approximately 7,000. Contractor to furnish the following supplies and consumables: Trash can Liners (must be strong/heavy duty.) Hand Soap. Soap dispensers at each sink. Toilet Paper (Standard 2-ply). Paper Towels (fold type). Air Fresheners. Daily task include: Empty all trash cans. Replace trash can lines. Deposit all trash and boxes in available dumpster. Clean countertops, sink, and floor in kitchen. Clean/shine all chrome fixtures including drinking fountains/molding. Vacuum all carpeted floors. Sweep/damp mop all uncarpeted floors. Sweep bathroom floors. Wet mop with disinfectant cleansers and rinse. Clean all sinks in bathroom. Replenish all bathroom supplies (paper products and hand soap). Wash/sanitize toilets, seats, urinals in bathrooms. Monthly Services: Dust all ledges, sills, and partitions. Dust and damp wipe all horizontal surfaces. Vacuum and dust all cloth bottom chairs. Clean grills on HVAC ducts including air returns. Spot clean all surfaces including entrance areas and glass partitions. Damp wipe and polish all chrome surfaces. Dust all ledges, sills, and partitions. Dust all venetian blinds. Scrub all tile and linoleum floors with soap/water and rinse buff as appropriate to keep floor clean and shiny. Maintain solid or liquid deodorizing agent or air freshener in all bathrooms. Provide air fresheners throughout the entire premise. Prefer Lavender scented plug-in (Must have at least 3 strategically located throughout the premise and they must be changed out once monthly). Wash all bathroom walls and partitions. Bi-Annual Services: Deodorize and disinfect all trips, drains, toilets, and urinals in bathrooms. Clean inside all ceiling light fixtures. Wash and dry all interior and exterior glass.vWash/dry all venetian blinds (Blinds must be removed from windows). Shampoo all carpeted floors. Completely sweep, strip, re-wax, and buff all tile and linoleum floors.
